Because of our growth, we are seeking an Architectural Designer in our Denver, CO office.

Job Summary: This position is primarily responsible for assisting in the research, plan development, design, and administration of architectural projects for clients. This position supports the lead project architect on all projects.            

Essential Functions: Assists project architect in the preparation of construction documents and specifications using computer assisted design software and equipment. Assists in the preparation and production of presentation materials, models and material boards. Assists in the preparation and production of various studies and reports. Maintains and updates resource material library. Meets with product representatives to obtain latest specifications and product information. Prepares scale drawings, contract documents, and assist with cost estimates. Schedules technical support staff engaged in the preparation of drawings and specification documents. May coordinate technical staff project responsibilities. Participates in firm-wide quality initiatives. May perform a phase manager role in complex projects as needed.

 Required Qualifications:
  • Must have a BA/BS degree or four (4) years related experience.
  • Must have experience using REVIT.
  • Must be mentally and physically capable of performing all essential duties required of the position.
  • Must be able to read, analyze and interpret general business documents, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
  • Must have above average verbal and written communication skills for both internal and external relationships.
  • Must be able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to clients and team members.
  • Must be able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Must be able to apply mathematical concept such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
  • Must be able to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to project situations.
  • Must be able to work equally well with all levels of management, clients and team members.
  • Must have average Microsoft Office suite skills.
  • Must be familiar with discipline related software applications.
